Chief Operating Officer, INSight Partners

Jared Blackwood has worked in the insurance industry since 2011, beginning his career with Bain Agency, Inc. and becoming the agency’s owner in 2018. In 2021, he helped form Bridgemark Insurance Solutions, expanding the organization across North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Nebraska. Following Bridgemark’s partnership with INSight Partners in 2025, Jared became Chief Operating Officer, where he helps oversee the organization’s operations and continued growth.

Jared has held numerous leadership roles within the independent insurance industry, including service on the Independent Insurance Agents of North Dakota Board of Directors, the National Young Agents Committee, and the IIABA board as State National Director. He has also served on the AAS & MSI board and chaired the IIABA Market Access Committee. In 2025, he received the Big “I” Chairman’s Award for distinguished service to the IIABA.

Outside of work, Jared enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, as well as golfing, hunting, and fishing.
